Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 5, 2026 · Version 1.1
Tiblo is a product of Recrutement TempIn Inc. (TempIn Recruitment Inc.), a Quebec company that also does business as TempIn Technologies and Tiblo ("Tiblo", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.
It covers three groups of people:
- Employers: people who use Tiblo to hire.
- Candidates: people who build a Tiblo profile or apply through Tiblo.
- People an employer checks: candidates an employer looks at through Tiblo (for example with our Chrome extension or by uploading a résumé) before they have joined Tiblo themselves.
1. The short version
- We use your information to run Tiblo. We don't sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.
- Candidates who join Tiblo control what employers see. An employer sees only what that candidate approved for that role.
- When an employer checks someone who hasn't joined Tiblo, the result is a private draft for that employer only. It is deleted after 30 days unless the employer invites the candidate.
- Tiblo compiles evidence. It does not make hiring decisions. Employers do.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time: privacy@tiblo.io.
2. Person in charge of protecting personal information
Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25), our Chief Executive Officer, Sid, is the person in charge of protecting personal information.

3. What we collect
Employers
- Account details: name, work email, company name.
- Role details: job descriptions, requirements and notes you add.
- Company information you give us, and public information about your company that we research for you (for example, from your website).
- Your activity in Tiblo: candidates you check, shortlist, invite or set aside, and the questions you ask.
Candidates
- Account details: name and email.
- What you give us: your résumé, work history, the claims you make about your experience, your answers to follow-up questions, and any evidence you attach.
- Your sharing choices: what you approve for each employer, and what you keep private.
People an employer checks
- When an employer clicks Check fit in our Chrome extension, we read that person's name, headline and work history from the page the employer has open (such as a LinkedIn profile or an applicant-tracking page). Nothing is read until the employer clicks.
- When an employer uploads a résumé, we read the résumé.
Everyone
- Technical information needed to keep Tiblo working and secure: sign-in records, IP address, browser type, and error logs.
- We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to share, sensitive information such as health, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political views or government ID numbers. If it appears in a résumé, Tiblo is designed to exclude it from briefs.
4. Why we use it
We use personal information only for these purposes:
- To run Tiblo. For example: creating your account, turning a résumé into claims, comparing a candidate's experience with a role, and producing the brief an employer reads.
- To let candidates control sharing. For example: showing candidates exactly what an employer will see before they approve it.
- To communicate with you. For example: sign-in codes, invitations, and replies to support requests.
- To keep Tiblo secure and prevent abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
- To improve the quality of Tiblo's outputs, using the anonymous insights described in section 7.
Tiblo's analysis uses artificial intelligence. It produces an evidence summary and a read of how a candidate's experience lines up with a role. It does not make decisions about anyone. Tiblo never rejects candidates automatically, never ranks candidates with a hidden score, and never infers personality or protected characteristics. Employers make every hiring decision.
5. Who can see your information
Employers see only:
- for a candidate who joined Tiblo, what that candidate approved for that employer's role;
- for a person the employer checked, the private draft that employer created. Other employers never see it.
Candidates see their own information, and always see the employer view before approving it.
Tiblo staff may look at customer content only for four reasons: to answer a support request, to investigate security or abuse, to meet a legal obligation, or to check the quality of Tiblo's outputs. Access is limited by role, and every view is logged with its reason.
Service providers that process information for us, under contracts that limit their use to providing their service:
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in and file storage | Canada (Montréal region) |
| Anthropic | AI analysis of résumés, profiles and roles | United States |
| Resend | Sending emails | United States |
| Vercel | Hosting the Tiblo website | United States |
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
Business transfer. If Tiblo or its business is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy's protections.
We never sell personal information, use it for advertising, give it to data brokers, or use it for credit, lending or insurance decisions.
6. Information sent outside Quebec
Some of our providers are in the United States (see the table in section 5). Before sending information outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected, as Quebec law requires, and we use contracts that require the provider to protect it. Our agreement with Anthropic prohibits it from using this information to train its models.
7. Anonymous insights about companies
We may keep anonymous, aggregated insights about how companies are organized (for example, that a company had a product team of a certain size range in a given decade), derived from the information we process. These insights cannot identify any individual. We create them under strict rules: only general categories, no free text, blurred dates, and a fact is used only once at least three different people independently support it or a public source confirms it.
These insights may draw on résumés employers upload and on profiles employers check with our Chrome extension, as well as on candidates' own Tiblo profiles. Only the general company facts described above are kept, never anything about the person.
Candidates who join Tiblo can choose to contribute their company facts directly ("Help Tiblo learn how companies work"). It is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.
8. How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Employer's private draft of a person who hasn't joined Tiblo | Deleted after 30 days. If the employer invites the person, deleted 30 days after the invitation unless they join |
| Candidate account and profile | Until the candidate deletes it |
| Information a candidate shared with an employer | While the employer's role is active, then up to 12 months unless the candidate removes it sooner |
| Employer account and roles | Until the employer deletes the account |
| Security and sign-in logs | Up to 12 months |
| Company facts awaiting confirmation (no name or link to any person) | Up to 24 months |
| Anonymous company insights | Kept, because they cannot identify anyone |
Our usage analytics do not contain candidates' names.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- see the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it, or stop using it;
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it;
- receive your information in a structured, commonly used format;
- explain how a brief about you was produced.
This includes people an employer checked who never joined Tiblo. Write to privacy@tiblo.io. We answer within 30 days, at no cost. We may need to confirm your identity first.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca) or, outside Quebec, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
10. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls that separate each employer's data and each candidate's vault, role-limited staff access with logging, and regular security reviews. If a breach creates a risk of serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as the law requires.
11. Chrome extension
The Tiblo Chrome extension reads a page only when you click it, and only the tab you clicked it on. It does not run in the background, track browsing, or read other tabs. The use of information received from the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: we use it only to provide Tiblo's features, never for advertising, never sell it, and never use it for credit or lending decisions.
12. Children
Tiblo is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
13. Changes
If we make an important change to this policy, we will tell users by email or in Tiblo before it takes effect. The version and effective date are at the top.
